They say it takes 3 weeks to form a habit, so why not take 21 days out of your life to form healthy new habits that will guarantee you look and feel better in such a short time frame.
“Detox” programs simply do not work. Sure you may lose a few kilos initially but you will put them back on as soon as you start to eat normally again.
The human body is in a constant state of repair and renewal.
It is a very smart and efficient machine which has it’s own mechanisms to fight disease, protect against extreme conditions and keep you going when not at 100%. Skin, hair, nails and blood will be replaced many times over throughout your life.
So the need to buy someone’s program or supplement in order to “detoxify” the body is a myth.
Your body knows exactly what to do with nutritious, healthy food. It knows how to process it, how to digest it and how to convert it to energy. It certainly doesn’t need a “juice and salad only” diet to be running smoothly.
Instead, try this: For 21 days you will live by the following guidelines;
- Do SOME exercise everyday
- Eat a healthy breakfast everyday
- Drink 2 litres of water per day
- NO alcohol
- NO food after 8pm (NA if you trained late)
- NO carbs with dinner except vegetables and salad
- NO desserts, junk food, sugar etc
- NO soft drinks (except diet variety)
Some of these you may have already been using from our Daily Checklist…..the real magic in this is doing it for 21 days straight.
If all you do is this I guarantee you will feel better…….and if you really embrace it and work hard at training you will be pleasantly surprised by the results you can achieve in just 3 weeks.
You can take this a step further to get to the top tier of weight loss.
By continuing to live by these guidelines on a much more long term basis you will really see great results.
Some days won’t be as good as others and you will deviate from the plan occasionally, but by sticking to the guidelines most of the time you will find yourself not craving junk food or alcohol like you may already be used to.
