Tina’s Chocolate Protein Balls

This recipe is courtesy of one of our members, Tina, who has come up with a really tasty and healthy snack. It’s so good I had to share it with you.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 100g Chocolate protein powder (see us for recommendations here!)
  • 50g almond meal
  • 50g desicated coconut
  • Tablespoon Tahini paste
  • 25g 70% cocoa powder
  • Artificial sweetner (optional)
  • Cold water
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor (don’t add water yet)
  2. Gradually add cold water until the mixture reaches a doughy consistency
  3. Mould into small balls and roll these in additional coconut
  4. Refrigerate

Makes approximately 20 balls.

Make these and experience them yourselves, they are amazing and will satisfy your sweet tooth without expending your waistline!

Tuna Slaw

Canned tuna in water
1 large grated carrot
1 large celery stalk chopped
Shredded lettuce
Mix the ingrediants in a bowl with low-fat
mayonaise.

Bircher Muesli

  • 1/3 Cup Rolled Oats
  • Handful chopped almonds
  • Spoonful sunflower seeds
  • Any other nuts or seeds you want to add…get creative!
  • 1/2 grated apple
  • Cover half with water then top up with milk and mix

Refrigerate overnight

In the morning add some yogurt, and fresh fruit and enjoy!
