Do you need to do something about your diet?
Do you need to do something urgently but don’t have the time to research all the diets around?
Try this 3-step solution. It’s called an “overhaul” but that’s not really the case, it’s more of a healthy eating template:
- Reduce your overall calories. Don’t count them, that just wastes more time, but instead of worrying about what foods to eat and when, just cut back on the foods you are currently eating. Less of this and less of that.
- Clean up your food choices. Now that you have reduced the overall amount of food you are eating, it’s time to start making better food choices. Cut out the sweets and the desserts and cheeses and fried and packaged foods. This is where you start eating sensibly.
- Structure your diet. This comes down to meal planning and timing. Eating breakfast, then eating a healthy snack 2-3 hours later and eating more small, portion-controlled meals every 2-3 hours after that.
Don’t try to implement these 3 steps all at once. Move to the next step only once the previous step has been mastered and is part of you routine. Layer each step on top of the other so by the time you have addressed the third phase, you have completely overhauled the way you eat.
